HISTORY
[WoRJ 54] Historian studying vanished cultures. "It has been suggested that the main, and possibly only, reason he was not dismissed from his post was his strength in the One Power." His role during the war was a bit unclear. He might have had something to do with the intellegence network. As far as anyone can tell, he never held field command, and maybe he had a few territories to govern. Although it is known that he "did participate in the everyday-large-scale atrocities." (ex. set up camps of humans to breed to feed the Trolloc armies and all them wonderful darkfrienish activities). As it happened, he was trapped even closer to the surface than Aginor (which accounts for his mangled features). He was freed from the prison at the same time as Aginor.

CHARACTER
[EotW 50 PB:748] {Aginor} Ol' Balthamel no longer speaks with his tongue. (How do those two communicate anyway?) [WoRJ 54] Aginor spoke for him. Third in the male Chosen Ranking. Noted for his wildfire temper that he sometimes couldn't control. Enjoyed women. Hung out with the bottom of society frequently. After being freed from the prison, he could not bear to look upon his face and body's disfiguration, so covered it up.

APPEARANCE

TURNING POINT
[WoRJ 54] Immortality was his primary target, to "live forever and never age."

DEATH
[EotW 50 PB:751] He destroys the last of the Nym, the Green Man, at the Eye of the World. But is in turn, turned into a mound of weeds, lichen, etc. [WoRJ 54] The first Chosen to "die" (like that means anything nowdays!).

SPECULATION
Maybe recycled (or is that *is*) Aran'gar/Halima kicking back with the rebel Aes Sedai, and freed Moggie
