Amadician

Amadacia holds the seat of the Fortress of the Light. While there is a
king, it is the Lord Captain Commander of the Children of the Light that
actually rules. Channeling is outlawed and women born with the ability
are killed. Women who have received any training in the White Tower are
not allowed in Amadicia, and are to be turned in to the Children of the
Light if found within its borders.

Men hedgedoctors do most of the healing in Amadacia. Women able to cure
must be careful as they could be accused of being a channeler or worse.

Men wear coats to their knees and women wear large, deep bonnets with
large velvet bows that hide their faces. Women favor long curled hair
which comes to their shoulders.
