Illianer

Located on the southern coast by the Sea of Storms, south of Murandy, east
of Altara,and west of Tear is the large country of Illian. Typical
Illianer men wear bearded faces with bare upper lips, and they speak with a
distinctive accent similar to what we would perceive as a "buccaneer".
Illian and Tear are bitter rivals and have been for centuries. Illian has
a King and a ruling council, the Council of Nine, traditionally opposed. The
city of Illian is historically tied to the legend of the Horn of Valere,
and the Great Hunt of the Horn is started in the Square of Tammaz, in the
city of Illian where Hunters take their oath, are blessed and start their
journey into the world. The Great Hunt is only called rarely, but a new
hunt has been called recently and Hunters can be found everywhere
representing all countries of the world. The symbol of Illian is a field
of deep green with nine golden bees.
